Uncorked is a boutique wine shop which features both domestic and international wines for purchase, a tasting bar where you can sample wines, and it also offers unique gifts for wine enthusiasts. I will be sitting down with Jeff Bonafede, one of the owners where we will be talking about my favorite subject wine, and also doing a tasting. It’s a great place to pop in with friends! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and as part of my new series I wanted to spotlight Walk With Sally an amazing charity located in the South Bay. I sit down with Nick Arquette who started Walk With Sally after he lost his mom to breast cancer. He shares his story and how it impacted him, why Walk With Sally was created and why this organization can make a difference in a child's life. The organization pairs children who have lost a parent or loved one to cancer or currently has a family member going through treatment or recently diagnosed. 30-40 percent of the children that are in the Walk With Sally program have been impacted by Breast Cancer.
